Goodwill
Industries has been providing Tri-State area
businesses with dependable and motivated employees for over
25 years. Our Employment Services Department has a proven
record as a dependable personnel resource in a variety of
occupational fields. Goodwill participants receive hands-on-training
and because of the one-on-one services we provide, these
individuals can be prescreened and matched to jobs according
to interest, ability and employer need.
This program works individually
with persons referred through WV DRS, KY BVR, Workers Compensation
and private rehabilitation companies to assist individuals
in their job search. Individuals are placed in both competitive
and supported employment positions.
Placement Services is ongoing
and individualized for each person. Placement rate for this
service is 95% at sites such as Prestera Center for Mental
Health Services, Applied Card Systems, Winans Janitorial
Service, ResCare of WV, Cammack Children's Center, Green
Acres, Cracker Barrel, Arby's, Olive Garden, Stepping Stones,
and other small businesses.

Compensation, I got into the BEST program
and it was a great experience. I didn't even
know how to type and I learned so much. I
came to Bellefonte for my two-week internship
and was placed in the Human Resources Department.
After only one week, I was asked to put in
an application, was interviewed at the end
of the week and was hired before the internship
was completed. Being at Goodwill was a great
