Consumer Credit Counseling

Consumer credit counselor and consumer in session.Consumer Credit Counseling Service, a division of Goodwill, is a not-for-profit debt counseling agency that offers free and confidential budget, credit, and housing counseling plus debt repayment plans. We can assist you in determining the best options to meet your individual needs.

CCCS is approved to issue certificates in compliance with the Bankruptcy Code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an agency's services. The fee for pre-filing counseling is $30 per person.

Our Certified Counselors will provide individual assistance with managing your money, examine ways to solve current financial problems and help educate you on how to prevent future difficulties.

This service is funded by tax-deductible contributions from credit grantors and by modest client fees. These ongoing contributions allow us to provide counseling services at no cost to the consumers. Individuals who enroll in the Debt Management Plan pay a nominal monthly maintenance fee. We offer credit report reviews for individuals and couples. The cost is $25 for an individual and $40 for a couple.

What does a C.C.C.S. counseling session involve?
  • It provides individual assistance with managing your money.
