Donating Vehicles

Goodwill gladly accepts your donation of used vehicles and boats, which are sold by sealed bid to the highest bidder. Goodwill then uses the proceeds to fund important job training and employment programs for people with disabilities and other disadvantaging conditions that keep them from being successful in the workplace.

Beginning January 1, 2005, IRS allows taxpayers to deduct only the proceeds charities get from the sale of vehicles. Within 30 days of the sale, sonors will receive a written acknowledgement from Goodwill that includes the sale price of the vehicle.”
