Adult Basic Education - [A.B.E.]
Adult Basic Education classes are a part of the Career Center's ongoing schedule of courses. ABE serves out-of-school adults aged 16 and above whose reading skills are below the twelfth grade level or who need remediation to prepare for the GED. The program is ongoing and instruction is free to participants.
The purpose of Adult Basic Education is to help adults become literate and obtain the knowledge and skills necessary for employment and self-sufficiency, to assist parents obtaining the functional skills necessary to become full partners in the educational development of their children, and to also assist adults in the completion of their own secondary school education.

For eligibility information or to ask about enrollment, contact the Career Center Outreach Coordinator at 304.523.7461 or email ccoc@goodwillhunting.org.
