Goodwill Industries of KYOWVA Area, Inc., provides homebuyer education classes, pre-purchase counseling and post-purchase education to enable first-time homebuyers to make smart decisions regarding home ownership. These programs are conducted through our Consumer Credit Counseling Service division. Through private consultation, homebuyers will review mortgage products, prepare for the purchasing process, and learn how to budget for home maintenance and improvements.
Foreclosure intervention and mortgage default counseling are also available through CCCS. In some cases, counselors can assist in working with lenders or other parties to solve mortgage delinquencies.
